Maruti Ertiga ZDI Not Just Another MPV On Indian Streets

Pros : Innovative diesel engine, seven seater spacious cabin, unbelievably high mileage count, powerful enough to drive in with excess load, comparatively low priced

Cons : Features are less upgraded

I procrastinated a lot till now when my wife demanded for an MUV to accommodate my happy joint family together when we are to visit any relatives or on some outings. I just did not want to be another person who owns the age old Toyota Innova or those call center cab MUVs. Thus, I patiently waited for Maruti Ertiga ZDI to leap in so that I can have something different. Not only a new MPV it is, it is also a performance oriented vehicle that has 1.3L, Multijet diesel engine with 1298 cc displacement. A spacious interior which will be also very comfortable during the drive when we all will go to Lucknow to visit my sister over there is something I am blessed with in this car.

It appearance is different from the consistently imposed exteriors that any of the MPVs have these days. The luggage space is enormous but only when the last two seats are folded out and this will make it difficult to carry much luggage when we all seven members go on a journey for a long vacation trip. The features are satisfactory but when I have to pay around Rs 8.40 lakh for this car, I really wish to get more that what is given to me.
