Tata Aria, Cool features but poor mileage

HI, I am Mahesh from Panji, Goa. I bought Tata Aria Prestige few months back and I am very happy to be one of the proud owners of this car. I shortlisted Tata Aria, Tata Safari and Toyota Innova, as was looking for a capacious car with good features and great driving pleasure. The build and designing of Tata Aria will stun the onlookers at its very first glance. The fabulous 2.2 liter diesel engine of Tata Aria is very calm and silent and far better than Toyota Innova. Driving Tata Aria on Pune highways in one of my memorable experiences with this car. I easily crossed the speedmark of 125 kmph but I have noticed that the acceleration paddle of Tata Aria is very stiff as compared to Toyota Innova.
 

As far as the mileage of this car is concerned, I am not at all convinced with the mileage. I am getting mileage of 8 - 9 while driving in Goa and 10 - 11 kmpl while I drive on highways, whereas, I have heard that cars like Tata Safari and Toyota Innova have better fuel efficiency.
 

The interiors and cabin space of Tata Aria are much better than other crossovers. I am a six feet tall person and I feel quite comfortable sitting in it as the headroom and legroom space of this car are sufficient. My car is one step ahead of Toyota Innova and Tata Safari in terms of features as well, it has some outstanding features like; Music controls on steering wheel, Central locking, Airbags, Power Steering, Anti-locking Braking System with Brake Assist System, DVD player, Remote fuel tank opening etc.
