Mahindra launches e-Verito with starting price of Rs. 9.5 lakh

Domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra has launched an electronic version of its sedan verito in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 9.5 lakh for its entry level variant D2 (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). It has been overall offered in three variants, the other two variants are D4 priced Rs. 9.75 lakh and D6 Rs. 10 lakh (both these prices are ex-showroom prices, New Delhi). According to sources of car maker the fuel efficiency charges for driving this electronic sedan will cost around Rs. 1.15/km.

Empowered with 72V battery from Li-ion batteries, the e-Verito is mated with automatic transmission system and is capable of reaching the top notch of 110 Km. It sports boost mode which offers it additional efficiency to generate extra power in the span of short seconds. The sedan can be charged with 15 amp socket in the span of an hour and 45 minutes when charged with powerful charger. The standard charging time however with normal charges is about 8 hours and 45 minutes.

The Mahindra e-Verito also sports Revive Technology that facilitates driver to reach the nearest charging station at the distance of almost 8 kms. The additional features offered in top end D6 variant are follow me headlamps, fast charging and music system.
