Mahindra XUV 700 Facelift To Be Named As XUV 7XO
November 19, 2025: Mahindra is preparing a major update for its XUV700, expected to debut as the Mahindra XUV 7XO in 2026. Production of the facelifted model will begin in December 2025. The SUV will feature a redesigned exterior, updated LED lighting and a premium triple-screen cabin layout. While powertrains will remain unchanged, the new model will likely offer upgraded features and a more refined interior. Priced above the current XUV700, it will continue to compete with the Safari, Alcazar, Scorpio N and Hector Plus.
Mahindra XUV700 Touches The Milestone of 3 Lakh Units Sold
July 16, 2025: The XUV700 SUV by Mahindra & Mahindra has achieved a major landmark of 3 lakh units sold in India. The SUV was launched in 2021 and since then it has continued to enjoy huge success in the Indian car market. In March 2025, the car maker had achieved the mark of 2.50 units sold. To commemorate the achievement the company had announced lucrative offers, but this time no such offers have been offered to potential buyers. The company is also preparing to launch the first facelift version of the SUV with major cosmetic updates on the external and internal fronts. The facelift version will come with the existing powertrains.
Spies Capture Mahindra XUV700 Facelift Being Tested On Indian Roads
June 17, 2025: Finally the spies have captured the facelift version of the premium SUV XUV700 by the domestic carmaker Mahindra & Mahindra undergoing the test drive for the first time. As the facelift version was highly covered it was difficult to identify the changes that would be introduced in the refreshed XUV700. According to reports the updated XUV700 will outsource many features from the upcoming electric SUVs XUV.e9 and BE.6 from Mahindra. Under the hood, it will continue with the existing engine configurations of a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine.
Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition Launched With Price Tag Of Rs 19.64 Lakh
March 17, 2025: The domestic carmaker Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the Ebony Edition of its popular SUV XUV700 in the Indian car market. The special Ebony Edition not only comes with a bunch of additional features but is based on a black-coloured theme. With this, the carmaker joins the bandwagon of Safari, Harrier and Nexon SUVs from the domestic carmaker Tata Motors. The price of the XUV700 Ebony Edition starts from Rs. 19.64 lakh and goes high up to Rs 24.14 lakh for the top-end variant. Both these prices are ex-showroom prices.
Mahindra Sold 14K XUV700 In 90 Days
January 27, 2022: Domestic carmaker Mahindra & Mahindra has achieved a milestone of selling more than 14K units of XUV700 within 90 days of its launch. However, it had taken 12 days more in achieving this target. At the time of its launch, the company had promised to make this possible by January 15, 2022. Under the hood, XUV700 is available with two engine options of 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine.
