January 10, 2022: The Czech carmaker, Skoda has launched the new Kodiaq SUV in the Indian car market. The carmaker had discontinued the SUV in April 2020 due to its incompatibility according to BS-VI emission norms. In its new version, the Kodiaq comes equipped with a  2.0-litre, 4-cylinder TSI turbo-petrol engine outsourced from Octavia and Superb. The engine churns the power of 190 hp and the torque of 320Nm. The transmission duties are performed by a seven-speed automatic gearbox. All the trims have an all-wheel driving system as a standard feature. The company has discontinued the diesel variant from the Kodiaq 2022.

 

 

April 14, 2021: Czech carmaker Skoda has unveiled the facelift version Kodiaq SUV in the global market. It is for the first time the Kodiaq has received the facelift after its launch back in 2016. In its new avatar the SUv receives the subtle changes on the exterior and interior front. The major change is its availability only in petrol variant with two engine options of 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.5-litre TSI engine.

 

May 2, 2019: Czech car manufacturing company Skoda has confirmed to launch the rugged version of its compact SUV Kodiaq Scout in the Indian car market by the end of this year. The Kodiaq Scout was showcased during the Franfurt Motor Show 2017 and is being sold in the International car market with four engine options of two engines in both the petrol and diesel variants. In the Indian car market it will be launched with 2.0 litre TDI diesel engine with seven speed DSG transmission system. The petrol variant is believed to be launched sometime during the next year.
