Tata Motors Reveals 2025 Altroz Ahead of Official Launch
The domestic carmaker Tata Motors is all set to launch the facelift Altroz premium hatchback in the Indian car market on May 22, 2025. Before its launch, the carmaker unveiled the details about features that would be offered in the Altroz 2025. It is the first facelift introduced in the hatchback since its launch in 2020. From the images, it is clear that the premium hatchback will retain its familiar silhouette and undergo cosmetic changes in design, features, and interior layout, following Tata’s latest design language.

To begin with, it is speculated to come with the same existing powertrain options, including a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.2-litre turbo petrol, 1.2-litre CNG with twin-cylinder tech, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Tata Altroz is the only hatchback in India which is available in the diesel variant, making it suitable for buyers looking for a fuel-efficient car.
The refreshed Altroz will be offered in five trim levels: Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ S.
- Smart Variant: Entry-level trim offering 6 airbags, ESP, LED tail lamps, projector halogen headlamps, flush-type door handles, and 90-degree opening doors. A lit Tata logo on a digital steering wheel and a 3d grille are among the cabin highlights.
- Pure Variant: Adds features such as a 7-inch Harman touchscreen, auto-fold ORVMS, auto climate control with Clima Touch, cruise control, rear camera, height-adjustable driver seat, and optional electric sunroof.
- Creative Variant: Introduces premium upgrades like a 360-degree camera, 10.25-inch HD infotainment system, Luminate LED headlamps with DRLS, push-button start, stylised steel wheels, rear AC vents, and ambient lighting.
- Accomplished S: Includes Drag cut R16 alloy wheels, LED fog lamps, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, connected LED tail lamps, dual-tone roof, and standard electric sunroof.
- Accomplished+ S: The top-tier trim boasts iRA connected car tech, 10.25-inch digital cluster with map view, blind spot monitoring, customizable AudioWorX audio system, air purifier, and SOS calling for emergencies.
The updated Altroz aims to deliver enhanced value and features to Indian consumers in the competitive premium hatchback segment.
