Tata Pixel coming to 2012 Delhi Auto Expo

Tata Motors will be showcasing its most gorgeous product till date in the form of Tata Pixel at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. The futuristic small car Tata Pixel was initially exhibited in the concept form at the Geneva Motor Show of 2011, where it took the center stage and won many accolades for its one of its kind styling and innovative features. The tiny-car is based on the Tata Nano platform and is mainly developed keeping in mind the European auto market. Though Tata Pixel will again be seen in the concept form at the Auto Show, but after its launch in the European countries, it is expected to see its Indian launch in some years down the line.

The Tata Pixel that carries a slogan or the tagline saying ‘A fresh city car concept for Europe’, which itself tells that Tata Motors have actually created this vehicle for the up-to-the-minute day needs of the small car-buyer in the European continent. The company has left no stone unturned in making it unique from the other or the upcoming small cars in the leading car sector.

The small car has some major revolutionary features that include Zero-turn drive that increases the maneuverability while parking the mini-car in the tightest of the spaces, as the car possesses a minimum circle radius of 2.6 meters. The third is its unbeatable design with innovative scissor shaped doors that will facilitate entry and exit with ease in the most inflexible of spaces. The transparent area of the scissor doors provides brilliant visibility. The car will be able to seat around four individuals comfortably.
